Passumpsic River To Monroe

For this trip, I put in at an access on the Passumpsic River, a couple miles upstream of the Connecticut River. The purpose of this trip was primarily to explore the Nine Islands region, scouting for potential campsites. The Passumpsic proved to be a fun river to paddle! One interesting rapid located between two ledgy outcrops. Being April, the Connecticut River was moving at a quick pace, and it only took an hour or so to reach the take out at the Monroe Bridge.

The Monroe access point is fairly steep bank and would benefit from a set of stairs to prevent further erosion.
