Two miles below Hubbard Island. Managed by the Student Conservation Association, who occasionally uses the site to house crews. Call/text Derek Snelling to confirm availability: (603) 558-2260
Access to the site is up a steep trail with box/check steps. Access was improved with a cedar landing staircase in 2020, thanks to contributions to the Paddlers' Trail Stewardship Fund.
The site sits in an area with hemlocks overlooking the river and adjacent to a field. It includes three tent platforms, a composting toilet, and a small network of trails. Fires are not permitted - stoves only.
Public access is permitted via the river only. The SCA facilities are closed to the public. Please do not try to enter buildings, as you will set off security alarms!
