You can park in the "Pavilion" parking area and carry your boats about 100 yards down a paved path to a dock or drive past the parking lot to a dirt road and park by the bridge by Fourmile Brook. It's not a steep slope, no poison ivy, and the brook is wide and plenty deep for a kayak or canoe. The bank is a little bit rocky, though.
