Have been canoe-camping rivers since 1975. Started on the Upper Delaware river at Hancock NY. Have done the Greenbriar in W. Va., the upper Susquehanna in remote north-central Pa, the Lehigh in Pa many times, the St. John and St. Croix rivers in Maine and the Bonaventure river in the Gaspe area of Canada. I am interested in the Connecticut river and looking for a 4-6 night trip on the upper section. Unsure of when water levels are optimal, how much CFS flow is required, and what rapids are encountered. Thanks for putting this site together.
