Tim
Bio:
I am retired from the USAF and a career in education. I have been paddling lakes and rivers for over 30 years, canoe and kayak. I am presently section kayaking the Chattahoochee River in Georgia. The Chattahoochee runs from Northern Georgia to the Gulf of Mexico. The Georgia section covers 434 miles, I have paddled 300 miles so far. I plan to get back on the Chattahoochee in the fall, because this time of year is south Georgia there are too many alligators for my comfort. I will wait until the alligators start their hibernation season before paddling further down stream. Georgia does not have the River Trail with campsites like you have in Connecticut. I am in the process of planning a section paddle down the Connecticut River.
