The Appalachian Mountain Club constructed this campsite along the Podunk River tributary in 2025. Called the Hartford Campsite, , it includes 16’ stair way, two platforms, a bench, signage and a moldering privy complete the site.

A big thanks goes to Mark Zakutasky for his efforts, as well as the Connecticut River Conservancy for organizing the project and staying positive through 4 different motor malfunctions.
